Sundays at the Farm

Just a stone’s throw from the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, High Country Lavender invites you to slow down and soak up the scenery. On Sundays, we open the farm for families and friends to come wander the lavender fields and herb garden, hike wooded trails, and simply enjoy the peaceful views from our shop’s front porch.

Sundays are extra special—often filled with the scent of lavender and the taste of unexpected treats. Stop by the shop for lavender lemonade, peanut butter, cookies, or whatever new creations we’re trying out that day. It’s a little taste of mountain life we’d love to share with you.

Picnic Experiences

Bring your own basket and quilt, or let us take care of all the details.

There’s plenty of room here to spread out under the trees or by the river, let the kids run free, and make memories that last. We can also prepare a custom picnic for you—ready to pick up at our shop when you arrive. Imagine a cozy spread of pimento cheese, fresh veggies, chips, lavender lemonade, and sweet lavender treats for dessert.

• Proposal Picnics: Lavender is the herb of devotion—what better place to ask, “Will you marry me?” We’ll handle the picnic, the flowers, and set the scene so all you need to bring is the ring.
